1. THE HOLY SCRIPTURE We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16,17
2. THE ETERNAL GODHEAD We believe in the Triune being of God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14
3. THE FALL OF HUMANITY We believe that through the sin of Adam all people have a sinful nature. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22
4. THE PLAN OF SALVATION We believe that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Roman 5:8 We receive pardon by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[1] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
5. SALVATION THROUGH GRACE We believe that our own righteousness is as filthy rags in the sight of God. All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. Isaiah 64:6 And that we must come to God through the righteousness of Christ. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- Ephesians 2:8
6. REPENTANCE We believe that we are to confess our sins to God, and that we will be forgiven. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9
7. NEW LIFE IN CHRIST We believe that once we accept Christ as our savior there is a change that takes place in our hearts and lives. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
8. CONSISTENT CHRISTIAN LIFE We believe that we strive to live a pure and holy life with a pure conscience. So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man. Acts 24:16
9. WATER BAPTISM We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward demonstration of what we have experienced within our heart and that it is a command of Christ. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19
10. THE LORD'S SUPPER We believe that we are to commemorate the Lord's Supper by the use of bread, and juice of the vine, symbolic of his broken body for healing and his shed blood for salvation. and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." I Corinthians 11:24,25 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. I Peter 2:24
11. THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT We believe that Holy Spirit Baptism is available to all believers to give them power to serve God. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
12. THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT We believe that the Holy Spirit has brought gifts to the church to be used for his glory. Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. I Corinthians 12:1-11
13. MODERATION We believe that the Christian walk is not fanatical nor led to extremes. Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Philippians 4:5
14. DIVINE HEALING We believe that divine healing is available to us today and that the power to heal the sick comes in the Name of Jesus Christ and is in answer to the prayer of faith. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:14-16
15. THE RETURN OF CHRIST We believe that Christ will return to take us to glory and those who have died in Christ will be raised first and those remaining will be caught up to meet him in the air. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Thessalonians 4:16, 17
16. LOCAL CHURCH INVOLVEMENT We believe it is the responsibility of the Christian to be visibly active in the church. So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers. Acts 16:5 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
17. CIVIL GOVERNMENT We believe that all rulers and governing bodies should be upheld in prayer at all times. Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. Romans 13:1-5
18. THE FINAL JUDGMENT We believe that everyone will someday stand before the judgment seat of God and receive either eternal life or eternal damnation. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. II Corinthians 5:10
19. HEAVEN We believe that heaven is our eternal home and that it is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God ; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:1-3 And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:15-17
20. HELL We believe that hell is for those who reject Christ as Savior and Lord, and is a place of eternal torment. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever... If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:10,15
21. EVANGELISM We believe that being a witness to others is the utmost responsibility of every Christian. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD , "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. Isaiah 43:10 Remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. James 5:20
22. TITHES AND OFFERINGS We believe that the method ordained by God for support of the church, its ministers, and the spreading of the Gospel is by giving tithes and offerings. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. Malachi 3:10 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. II Corinthians 9:7
